Projects:
For this last and final project, I learned to blend colors in. Even though I could've done better and made more smooth, my most definit struggle on this project was blending in the purple on the magazine. I now know to not go from straight dark to light, i can also see that avoided my corral which made it look weird, all in all this project was really fun and I learned to techniques.
Perspective Drawing
In this project I first learned many different perspectives but I chose to use 3 point perspective to build my dream house. I feel like I could have focused on the front of my house more to bring it out, but on the right side I did a gazebo with wood patterns for the floors and used different patterns for the stables. I put shading on my house instead of colors because I feel like the colors will make it not look like a natural modern house. All in all, I had fun doing this project and I think it turned out pretty good.
Impressionism Painting
In this painting I learned how to use different techniques and strokes for painting, here I tried to go for a little foggy pond with some water lilies. Although the pond didn't really look like the water on my reference photo, I learned to use different colors to get to the right color you want, this was painted on a canvas but overall I have learned alot and from our first painting and will be ready for the next painting coming up.
Alebrijes clay
On this alebrijes clay project I picked a cheetah, a monkey and a dog with antlers. I learned how to handle clay the right way and to form anything, I picked those three animals because they are my favorite. But I also learned that I should have never made my body so thick and my legs so small and close together because it didn't come out evenly and what I wanted it to be. All in all, it turned out pretty good after painting it and would love to do more clay projects in the future and use the new techniques I have learned from this first one.
Self portrait
My three symbols are necklace, smile, and eyes. On my first symbol is a necklace I tried to make my necklace darker so it will pop out, I chose this necklace to be one of my symbol because my grandma had made it for me from the Philippines, so I wear it everyday. Second symbol is eyes I also tried to make this darker to be noticable I picked this symbol because it represents me on how Im known to be always smiling. Third symbol I picked was my eyes I also tried to darken it, I picked this symbol because it represent my ethnicity which is asian. All in all, I learned to spot my main values and all the shadowing and that different techniques brings out the drawing.

Sketchbook
For this project we learned to sew/stitch on book covers. We used one big piece of paper that we designed which is called an "end page" we then took some fabric and two boards and glued the fabric on the board after, we glued our endpage to the board and start to sew our signatures with the whole we made on them which was 1in,3in,5.5in,7.5in. I struggled a little sewing the signatures trying to keep them tight and even, but all in all my sketch book turned out better than I imagined it to be.
Masks
This project we cut out a tracing of the mask which was sewed together. We also used scissors, they weren't perfect cuts but as we sewed them and folded the edges they turned ot pretty good . In the end I was satisfied with how my work turned out and it fit pretty well.
